Students in Dominican’s Adult Degree Completion Psychology program learn to think analytically while developing the skills to probe a variety of issues by asking the right questions. The dynamic curriculum explores theory, research and applied techniques, while the small class size allows for one-on-one interaction with the department’s exceptional faculty of practicing psychologists, acclaimed teachers and researchers.

Designed for adults, the BA in Psychology program is intensive and accelerated, while recognizing the needs, experiences, and skills of mature learners. All courses for the major are offered in the evening and/or on weekends.

Career Paths

Students receiving this degree are prepared for success in a wide range of careers, as well as the pursuit of advanced degrees, such as clinical/counseling psychology, research/statistics positions, developmental/school psychology, medical school/law school, human services/non-profit sector work, and business/organizational psychology posts.
